Folkharp: A
36-string harp fitted with gold-plated Truitt levers and concert grand
string spacing. This harp can be built to use either standard pedal
harp strings or lighter gauge strings. It is especially nice when
strung in 19th Century Light Gauge gut strings with fibre-core bronze
wires in the bass. This instrument was made of figured maple and
American walnut, has a soundboard of old-growth, old-harvest Sitka
Spruce that is hand-planed to a very complex thickness profile. The
sound quality and projection are quite impressive with either
stringing.
